RINO Rep Who Voted To Impeach Trump Faces Shock Primary Challenge From Pro-Trump Green Beret
(Liberty Bell) â An avowed America-first Trump Republican is stepping up to challenge one of the biggest RINOs in the House, Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, who voted to impeach Trump and offered testimony accusing him of inciting the violence on January 6th during the Democratsâ sham second impeachment.
Heâs also a Green Beret.
Joe Kent (also a Gold Star husband) published a video to YouTube and social media on Thursday announcing the primary challenge for the 2022 midterms.
âIâm Joe Kent. Iâm an âAmerica Firstâ Republican running for Congress in Washington Stateâs 3rd congressional district to primary Jaime Herrera Beutler. Iâm primarying Jaime Herrera Beutler because she voted for the impeachment of President Trump against the will of the people of this district,â he says in the announcement.
Special Operations Forces Report, a military news magazine, recently interviewed the American hero and now-aspiring politician.
âKent is a former Army Ranger who went on to join the Fifth Special Forces where he logged eleven combat tours in Iraq and elsewhere. Kent rose to the rank of Chief Warrant Officer before leaving the SOF community,â the outlet reported last year.
âIn addition to his decades of service in U.S. Army Special Operations, Kent is also a Gold Star husband. His wife, Shannon Kent, was a U.S. Navy intelligence operative who was killed while serving in Syria in 2019,â they added.
Kent has been a virulent Trump supporter all along, ulike Beutler, who refused to vote for the former president in 2016 and opposed his 2017 effort to repeal Obamacare.
In a column for Military Times last year, Kent explained that Trumpâs âblunt, brutal honestâ spoke to him as well as the millions of Americans who voted for him.
âAs Trump crashed his way onto the political scene, I was in Iraq serving on my ninth combat deployment as a Green Beret,â he explained.
âTrumpâs view of the war on terror accurately reflected the truth on the ground. I was in Iraq to help fight ISIS, with major limitations on how much combat power we could leverage against ISIS.â
Trumpâs disruption of the failed political status quo & staunch defense of the foundations of our nation has earned him my support.

Four years later, the decision to vote for Trump was still a no-brainer for the veteran.
âAs we head to November the unrest on our streets and the building insurrection is hard to overlook. On one side is Trump, who has shown the ability to use force while suing for peace abroad and taking restrained steps to restore order at home,â he explained.
âOn the other side is Biden, who can only point at Trumpâs personal flaws, promising to restore an old, failed order while running cover for the radical left as they seek to destroy the foundations of our nation. For me, the choice could not be clearer,â Kent also wrote.
This week, during an appearance on the âLars Larson Show,â Kent explained that Beutler âstabbedâ himself and her constituents, who overwhelmingly voted for Trump in 2020, in the back.
âI donât know what she was thinking, but we need to get some actual qualified representation of this district into D.C. to push back hard against the far-left policies that are coming from D.C.,â he said.
Thereâs a good chance that Kent will get a very big endorsement in his primary challengeâitâs been strongly suggested that former President Trump now has his sights set on the 2022 and could play a major role as kingmaker for the new, America First patriots who are sick of double-minded GOP RINOs like Beutler.
